A truly alien and inexplicable godlike creature from a dimension beyond human ken, Cthugrosh was summoned to Earth by the depraved sacrifices of his occult worshipers, all of whom were slain upon his arrival. Heralded as a bringer of apocalypse, Cthugrosh is one of the greatest Lords of Cthul, an entity that draws power from carnage and whose gluttony for life’s energy seems inexhaustible. Alien as his mind is, it is also immensely powerful, capable of tremendous feats of telekinesis and unleashing mind-rending surges of pure energy.

RULES NOTES:
- Fling is a trigger and has been errata’d - Triggers are part of an attack’s resolution, but they are only attacks if they target models. Most triggers choose a model, so they are not governed by the rules of targeting that control brawl and blast attacks. Triggers are never a type of attacks. For example, Fling is a special rule that is triggered as part of an attack. Fling is not a blast or a brawl attack, but it is part of the attack that triggers it.
STRATEGIC NOTES:
- Use High Mobility to get into advantageous alignment to set up power attacks.
- Don't forget that telekinesis can usually surprise your opponent when they are close to a building or hazard by removing a screen.
- Terrify can give Cthugrosh a very powerful defense from powerful brawling units(Ex. Carnidons)
- Fling on blast can help remove a screen for your second monster to move in for a power attack.
- Cthugrosh does not have any way of causing more than one point outside of power attacks. Patience is key. Use Summon, Telekinesis and high mobility to break screens or move into unexpected positions to make major damage attacks.
- Cthugrosh can heal in Alpha form with Sacrifice. Sacrifice can be used on any allied unit. If you do sacrifice a Meat Slave, as long as you have a Cthul unit in reserve to replace it you can keep your screen and heal.
